Welcome to Fiona Wilson Prints
I am a printer and maker based in Leek, Staffordshire, right on the edge of the peak district where I run my studio and workshops. My studio used to be a Ginger Beer Factory and is a lovely old building with stone carved bottles above the yard door and creaky steps up to my creative happy space. I make colourful, happy designs and turn them into gifts, home accessories and original artworks. Everything is designed and made by hand by me, I package it up and take it to the post office too. My range is always expanding and evolving, I love creating playful products that make you smile.
I started my business in my 30’s after leaving a job in marketing and returning to study screen printing and textiles at university. After working in my spare room and renting studio spaces over the years, I eventually landed in Staffordshire, moving from Yorkshire with my other half Andrew where we found the Ginger Beer Factory. The buildling was a bit unloved so we set about turning it into the space it is now. It was a lot of elbow grease and a big renovation job, but now it’s my happy space to work and teach in.
